Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Richard W. Sanchez has been living in Miami since 1991 where he became an American citizen.

He majored in Business Administration. However, his passion is marketing, sales, promotion, and merchandising, where he received several diplomas at top Brazilian related schools.

While in Brazil after working as auditor at Price Waterhouse, he decided to have his own business. He was a Commercial Representative and Master Franchiser for years.

All market studies back in the early 80’s indicated that Miami would be what it is today, the gateway of the Americas. That is why he chose Miami to live in and to run his business.

Richard has been working exclusively with Brazil as an exporter, importer, distributor and consultant for Brazilian entrepreneurs since his first day in Miami.

He is happily married with his wife and has one son. He is a devout Christian and is a very active member at a local church.

He is a blogger and writer and has had many of his articles published in Brazil.

Due to his knowledge about doing business in the United States and in Brazil, he has had the opportunity to speak at UM – University of Miami School of Business, Miami Realtor Association, FIU – Florida International University College of Administration among other places in Brazil.

In addition, because of his connections, relationships, reputation, and work ethic, he became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Florida. With the same determination, professionalism, work ethic and principles, he takes pride in his work and built relationships.

He believes that with his experience, drive for excellence and the U.S.-Brazil Chamber of Commerce team at his side, he can make a difference in the community and leave a legacy behind for the next generation.

Abraham Benhayoun, Esq., founder of The Florida Business Law  Firm, P.A., was born in Venezuela, and lived in Chile, Baltimore, and Israel, before settling down in Miami. These experiences allow Mr. Benhayoun to serve his clients in Spanish, English, or Hebrew, and to understand not only his clients’ language, but their culture as well.

Mr. Benhayoun received his B.S. in Finance from Florida International University and then went on to receive his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. In law school, Mr. Benhayoun received three Dean’s List awards, as well as the Judge Aaron B. Cohen Judicial Externship Fellowship award. He interned with the Honorable Judge Nushin G. Sayfie of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Mr. Benhayoun also served as the Vice President, and then President, of the Jewish Law Student Association at Florida International University.

In addition to his undergraduate career in Finance, Mr. Benhayoun has owned and operated numerous businesses of various types and sizes. Frank Rosillo, CPA, MST is the Managing Director of Rosillo & Associates, P.A. He holds a Certified Public Accounting license with the State of Florida and received a Masters in Taxation, Bachelors in Accounting and Bachelors in Finance. Pete De La Torre Born in New York City from Cuban immigrant parents. He was raised in Miami since he was 5 years old. Attended Miami-Dade College and Florida International University where he majored in Business Administration. He is a graduate of the Hispanic Leadership Academy at The University of Chicago Booth Business School and recently received his Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
Professionally Mr. De La Torre spent 16 years in the Flowers Importing industry as one of the pioneers in the industry. In 1995 he moved on to work in the financial services industry as a very successful agent and district manager for Axa Advisors. In 2001, Mr. De La Torre was hired as a partner with New York life where he was ranked in the top 50 nationally for all partners with the company.
Mr. De La Torre served as Executive Director of The Doral Business Council from early 2005 to September 2011. He was instrumental in the growth of the organization from a 45 member group to a membership base exceeding 700 members in 2011.
Mr. De La Torre is currently President/CEO of Pete De La Torre Enterprise, an organization that specializes in re-inventing businesses through communication, training and professional speaking services. He is also an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College, the largest college in the U.S.
Pete is The Host of “The Pete De La Torre Business Hour” A live daily radio show focusing on economic development and business opportunities for South Florida. His program is on each morning from 8-9am on 880 am The Biz. He is a regular monthly columnist and blogger for Community Newspapers in Miami, FL.
Mr. De La Torre has been involved and held key positions with several non-profit and business organizations in South Florida which include the following groups; Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, American Heart Association, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Chamber South. Highlighting his accomplishments was his tenure as a Board of Director with The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce from 2000-2004.
Mr. De La Torre currently sits on several boards including The International MBA Advisory board of Florida International University and The Back on Track Network. Mr. De La Torre is a a member of The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Trustee Council.
